Awards

BEAD/MARL received three EPA Scientific and Technological Achievement Awards (STAA); the first one in 2005, second one in 2007, and third one in 2010.

Winning Awards

  1. The 2005 Scientific and Technological Achievement Award (STAA) was for “creating the OPP Microarray Research Laboratory and research supporting the Antimicrobial Testing Program of the Office of Pesticide Programs.”
  2. MARL was the winner of the “2007 Scientific and Technological Achievement Award (STAA) Competition” for the research publications: "Global Transcriptome Analysis of Staphylococcus aureus Response to Hydrogen Peroxide", “Global Transcriptome Analysis of Staphylococcus aureus to Peracetic Acid”, and “The Microarray Analysis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa Reveals Induction of Pyocin in Response to Hydrogen Peroxide”.   3. MARL was the winner of the "2010 Science and Technological Achievement Award (STAA) Competition" for the Research Publications.
